The FitDeck Story

FitDeck Founder Phil Black

FitDeck, Inc. was founded in 2005 by fitness entrepreneur and inventor Phil Black. Black came up with the idea to create FitDeck after combining the fun of a card game he used to play in college with the rigors of his Navy SEAL training.

The impressive breadth of the FitDeck product line is a product of Black’s unique and diverse background: Yale University, Harvard Business School, U.S. Navy SEAL and Navy SEAL Instructor, former Goldman Sachs Investment Banker, Certified Personal Trainer, Firefighter, Entrepreneur, Author, Speaker, husband and father of four boys.

FitDeck's Mission

FitDeck's Mission focuses on three critical elements: (1) exercise, (2) training for your favorite sport, and (3) nutrition. It's our mission to make each of these elements more simple, convenient, and fun. We do this by simplifying, decluttering, and filtering the noise and distractions that can get in the way of achieving your goals. Our primary tool to deliver this information is a custom deck of playing cards. These cards allow you to specify the type of workout you want by choosing from our library of 40 unique FitDeck titles. Shuffle your cards to create an ever-changing, always-fresh workout in 15 seconds or less.

Testimonials

"As you know, I love Fit Decks workouts. I’m 44 and have been an athlete since I was a kid. Now I run my investment firm and play with my family………and play and workout. I’ve done pretty much everything over the years and have personally found Fit Deck to be hands down, the most effective training program I’ve tried."  - Tom

"I'm a sales guy & use your FitDeck while on the road or for a quick home work out. Great product! Very simple to use & I don't have to remember all the exercises." - Rick

"I am a working mother with a semi lazy husband. I have found it hard to commit to an all or nothing program with my schedule that gives little time for me. I recently picked up the Superman FitDeck and wanted to express how great this product is." - Judy

"I received my FitDeck and DVD about a week ago and I have used FitDeck four times since then. While I still use weight training and cardio machine workouts as the meat and potatoes of my exercise program, FitDeck has added a little spice and dare I say it is a little addictive." - Ronnie

"I've been using it at night after walking home from work and I have to say it's quite addictive. I think I'll only do 5 cards and pretty soon I've done 10.  I can't wait to put them to use in my training walks." - Sandy
